As he put it, Dems attitude is, nobody is going to be "the boss of me". Well, no wonder we are in trouble!
In general but particularly in a crisis, there must be a leader, not a boss, a leader to help people understand a crisis and how we are going to reach a better future.
The R's are way over on the other end of the spectrum. They LOVE a boss. They are in lock step, daily devour Republican breakfast talking points, and study the latest propaganda guidebook Project 2025. That is a HUGE reason they are in control, trifecta control.
Schumer represents the old Dem Party, a weak leader for millions who don't want a "boss", a "leader" who can't heard eight rouge members into a more stratigic entity.
The New Democratic Party must have a real leader, and we must come together in a more organized way around a set of nuts and bolts goals, with more emphasis on the practical steps to success and less emphasis on how we feel about everything and whether or not we like or don't like being told what to do.
