Jim, I listened and watched last night's show with Sean Penn. I must say it was intense and frightening. I think the way Sean Penn presented what happened in such a dramatic way it truly all became reality.
At about the 22 minute mark, Jason Isaacs mentions that republican representatives he talked to recently were not speaking out about Trump because they're fearful of being primaried out of their jobs. Then he said...and this is people's living and livelihood. Well, I have something to say about that. They are not standing up for their constituents who hired them to do a job, so they should be primaried out of their jobs. Basically they are being paid for doing nothing. I am utterly offended that any republican representative (or democratic representative, for that matter), would put their "livelihood" ahead of the thousands of constituents livelihoods and keep quiet. Americans are fearful and losing jobs for no reason and afraid for their safety, their security, losing their life savings, their retirements, fearful of what will happen to Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security! And these sniveling republican representatives are hiding. They have shirked their duty, and a lot of suffering is happening. History will remember them, and so will voters. VOTE THESE COWARDS OUT IN EVERY ELECTION. LOCAL, STATE, NATIONAL.
Jim, I watch your program nearly everyday. I appreciate your keeping us informed with outstanding guests. BUT….I think many here want to know just what we can do and where do we go for information on protests and other anti regime actions. SUGGESTION: Have you thought about having leaders or organizers of Mass Protests on your show. It would be great to hear from them. What their plans are, dates, times, other events coming up. I think this would be very productive and helpful.

Words of war is playing in Denver on a tiny ANC screen for just a few days. It does not show up on ANC's main search capability. I finally found tickets and am looking forward to seeing it next Thursday because I know quite a bit about Anna Politkovskaya, the journalist, her story, as well as Veronica Guerin and the Maltese journalist who were killed for investigating corruption.
The goal of the GOP and the Heritage foundation is to defund the truth via suppressing by defunding the Arts re thinkers creatively educating and speaking out! Also, in schools! By the looks of the oval office new decor someone could have used some arts education in school!
Thanks for some levity, Jim, and thanks to the aspiring guests. But my heart feels weighted down by not only the stuff that we KNOW is being done in the WH but the unknown of what has been done and what will be to come. I hope beyond all hope that there are people close to the situation who will know when they have to "pull the plug" on their own Administration and PRAY that they have the courage to do it. I am neither Dem nor Repub, but at least respected the two-party system once upon a time. I STILL DON'T GET the situation we are in. 47 showed some of who he was in the WH the first time, and I really thought that anyone with sense and sensibility would NEVER vote him in again. When we got through the Insurrection, I breathed a sigh of relief, thinking, "We made it through." And YET, SOOO MANY voters put him back in the WH again (thankfully, it was not my husband, a life-long Republican, this time). They all saw what they wanted to see. They all believed in the goal and outcome THEY wanted, and they ignored the rest. I can't do that, because "the rest" is what got us to the point we are at today.
Loved your show. Matt impressions of Trump was pretty darn funny. Having a parade for Trump is not what tax payers want. He thinks it’s ok to make cuts but then spend billions on his parade. I won’t be watching it. What the fuck does he think he is king?
