We can't ignore Trump until 2028! That's what he wants.

Exactly, we cannot wait. The discussion about the midterms and Trump interfering with the elections, I believe he will. I think he'll have the National Guard stationed at voting centers in Democratic states. Plus, our mail-in ballots will be tossed out as well. So, how do we defend our voting rights? We may have to take the time to vote in person because we cannot trust this administration.

Yes! I had been voting by mail until my ballot (mailed at the post office) didn't arrive to be counted. I will vote in person from now on!

Alligator Alcatraz is inhumane! The heat, humidity, mosquitos and other bugs, portable toilets?! Rounding up mostly innocent immigrants and throwing them in these places. How are these detention centers different from Nazi concentration camps? Horrible!

I believe the difference is that "H" did what he did. I don't want to repeat what we all know. But Trump wants to cause a slower torture possible or for these migrants to take their lives in which two have already done. This shit is BEYOND! BEYOND inhumane, barbaric and monstrous.

I watched the news segment about Alligator Alcatraz, Kristi Noem was constantly in Trump's face. They were both laughing about the Alligator danger there. Then shit head DeSantis had a smirk on his face. Too bad I can't slap the smirk off his face. Being a Latina, the cruelty of everything going on with immigrants is alarming. I say immigrants because it's not only Latinos, yes, we make up the majority of people being detained, but I was listening to an Asian woman speaking on behalf of her culture, and she stated they are being deported as well. I think it's all immigrants. Right now, in my mind, I'm asking when is the cruelty enough? When are we going to do something about this? Our congressmen, senators, and justices cannot or are not willing to stop the madness. Charles Manson was treated better in prison than the immigrants, and he committed heinous crimes. The immigrant's crime was crossing the border illegally. Not all people being detained crossed the border illegally, as I've heard on various media outlets, people who are in the process of completing their documents and attending court sessions are being detained. So I ask again, when are we going to stop the madman and his donkey ass adminstration? The angry woman is out now!

The Carville segment was so out of touch. You both laughing like this is a game knowing BOTH of you will receive tax breaks because you are rich. Listen to this to understand the panic and terror us “plebes” are feeling: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-dangerous-ones/id1780887933?i=1000715162885

I'm not sure how old you are and your experiences but I totally get James Carville; I don't agree that it is for the money for them. If it is, we are truly screwed so get prepared. There will be no "rich" unless you are MAGA. Just my opinion.

You did not comprehend my statement. Re-read it. Also, listen to the link I posted, if you haven’t. Remember, Carville is the one who told the Dems to lay low. The PEOPLE want an opposition party which the Dems are not. My age is irrelevant.

Heck, put them all in there.  Trump & Miller could share a bunk, Noem & Homan another, and on and on.  Let’s see how that vile gasbag does in 100+ degree heat.  LOL, I HOPE he’d try to escape and ‘weave’ his way through the alligators and snakes.

I wouldn’t consider it revenge; I’d consider it punishment for their blatant lawlessness, lies, and  shredding of the Constitution right before our eyes.  As for strengthening democracy and the rule of law, we can only hope that we have free and fair elections starting in 2026.

Him along with Miller, Noem, Bondi, and so many others. However, this was built without a study on the impact on the Everglades. It should not have been built, and the animals that call this place home and the Native Americans who consider this land sacred should not be insulted and soiled by their presence.

Think of him as a military general who retired in your hometown; he did not gain his expertise from staying in his hometown, he just wanted to return to where he grew up. His job is not to fix Louisiana, he is offering his expertise to help us out of this situation. Again, just what I have learned from hanging around experts; he doesn't need your approval.

You can think of him any way you wish, which is your 1A right. Doesn’t mean I have to agree.

You do you. 🙄🙄

He has done a whole lot for Liberal candidates. Louisiana, like where I live, Texas has to help themselves and flip to Democrats. They keep voting against themselves by voting Republican or not voting, at all. Carville can't change that, the specific state needs to. He's an interesting man. Perfect? Hell no. But, one of the few political advisors who really knows their stuff.
